We have some users that use Linux servers without a GUI for development. I know this isn’t the use-case, but we were able to successfully setup FileCloud Sync for them using the instructions here: https://www.getfilecloud.com/supportdocs/display/cloud/Sync+for+Netgear+ReadyNAS
The issue is that doing it this way requires the user’s passwords be saved in plain text in the configuration XML file. We use SAML SSO tied to AD authentication for FileCloud, and we can’t just leave those passwords exposed like that. Would it be possible to create a way to hash this password? Or to create a command-line version of FileCloud Sync for Linux that runs as a service using the currently logged-in user?
